The Police Drug Unit believes that there are still large quantities of Marijuana being cultivated in the highlands even though more than $1 billion worth of Marijuana plants have been uprooted so far.
Officer-In-Charge Drugs ASP Sakeo Ganivatu said according to the information they have received, there are people who are still cultivating the drugs.
Meanwhile, police are still looking for a Tacirua farmer who fled after his farm was raided last week and Marijuana plants with a street value of more than $75,000 was uprooted.
According to police the farmer was in the farm when police went to carry out the raid, however he manage to fled and is still missing.
