Houses with no windows and homes protected with used corrugated iron, timber and tarpaulin.

These are sights of the homes of the victims in Calia Navua who are still trying to come to terms with the disaster that struck them three weeks ago.

The President of a non government organisation, the Poor Relief Society who were in Navua distributing food rations and clothes to the victims of Tropical Cyclone Mick over the weekend said most of the families living in the squatter settlement lost their belongings and are still struggling.

Sabita Gandhi said when they took the items to these victims, they looked lost and confused.
