People of Ono-i-lau have started preparing for strong winds from this morning following a warning from the Nadi Weather office.
Sanaila Tuiyavea from Ono-i-lau post office said they've started feeling strong winds and occasional rainfall.
Meanwhile, a strong wind warning is now in force for Lau and the Lomaiviti group, Southeastern Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands however the Nadi Weather Office said the cyclone does not pose any direct threat to Fiji.
