The people of Kahuku in Hawaii are getting a taste of Fiji with mouth watery Fijian and Indian dishes including Kava as well.

The shop known as Fijian Market is owned by a former Fiji resident Nivez Singh and his family which also owns a Pizza Shop in Honolulu.

KE ALAKA'I news reports that the Fijian Market situated in Kahuku is attracting a lot of locals and it is something different and new and one resident said that the Fiji Market is like going to a foreign country.

The shop is getting famous for its Kava, utensils for preparing Kava, other Fijian drinks and snack amongst the Fijians and other residents however the most popular item on the list is the large box of Cabin Biscuits.

Singh said the inspiration to open the Fijian Market came from his father and the success comes from her mother’s ability of making very good curry.
