People in Fiji now have a chance to choose players from a pool of 40 well known players that will play in the Uprising Fiji International 7s tournament.
The team will be known as the Digicel Matai Text Select team and Digicel users will have to text the initials of the players name to 1009.
In a press conference this morning, Tournament Organizer Randall Kamea stated they have consulted Fiji Rugby Union and our sister station Viti FM to produce the pool of players.
Kamea said they have included 20 players from the National squad plus 20 more players have been included who they believe are worthy of playing in the Uprising Fiji International 7s.
Meanwhile, Kamea will announce in the next few days one of the best rugby 7s coaches ever to work with the squad of players that the people of Fiji will also select.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s tournament will be held from the 21st to the 22nd of January next year.
