The rising sea level and the reducing of the sea line is evidence enough that people in the country need more awareness with regards to Climate change and need more activities like Earth Hour.

WWF and Earth Hour Coordinator, Losana McGown said that the yearly event brings to light the plight of the people living in the outer islands who are facing firsthand the realities of the effect of climate change.

She adds that everyone regardless of where you live, whether it’s in the rural areas, island or in the city area - need to practice Earth Hour.
