With a few more hours remaining for the New Year, most people are hyped up about welcoming it at the Legend FM Annual Fiji Street Party with Coke Zero at the Civic Car Park at the Suva Foreshore.
Fijivillage caught up with members of the public, most of them yearly street party fans and are looking forward to what this countdown will bring and the New Year.
FM96 breakfast co-host Tony Rahiman says they will keep the crowd on their toes till the New Year with pumping music.
Rahiman says the atmosphere at the Civic Car Park at the Suva Foreshore will be electrifying and many will be left breathless after the countdown.
Organizer, Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson says that people should not worry about the rain.
Other entertainment provided at the street party includes Ferris wheels, bouncy castles and face painting.
Extra bus services will be provided from 12 midnight to 3 tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile, as people farewell 2015 and welcome the New Year they are reminded that Police Officers will be visible at all entertainment areas tonight.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu says with the Annual Street Party happening in the city, more than 100 Officers will be patrolling the city.
ACP Tudravu says they are also beefing up security in the Northern and Western Division.
He says they may also pull some officers from various Police Stations if the need arises.
He urges members of the community to enjoy themselves but all the joyful activities should be within the ambit of the law.
