Labasa Town is today a sea of red as people have come out in numbers to congratulate their team who won the Courts IDC tournament after 17 years.
Our reporter, Samshud Dean said more than 400 people are at the Waiqele Airport to welcome the Labasa soccer team, the officials and the Courts IDC trophy.
Meanwhile a resident, Ram Prit said he has been waiting at the airport since 7.30 this morning to join the celebrations.
Labasa and Savusavu Special Administrator, Vijay Chand said people of Labasa have been preparing for this day.
A march is also organised from Y-corner in town to Subrail park from 11am.
A presentation night will also be held at Labasa Civic Center tonight.
