People residing in Nasasa, Pacific Harbour, Taunovo and Galoa are advised to store water now as they are expected to face water disruptions today.

Water Authority of Fiji confirms that a power blackout occurred to treatment plants in Nayagi and Deuba this morning that shutdown the pumps and water treatment process.

One water truck is carting water to the Navua Hospital, Rampur College and other schools within Navua and Deuba.

The Water Authority said they cannot confirm when the power will be restored but advises residents to use water wisely.

Meanwhile, people in Nadi are also expected to face water disruptions today as work on a main valve is currently being carried out.

The areas that will face water disruptions include Naboutini Back road, Army camp at Votua Levu, Marist College teacher's quarters and Waimalika.

Water Supply is expected to normalize by 5 o'clock this afternoon in these areas.
