People living along the Suva-Nausori corridor, in Tailevu South and the whole of Rewa Delta are being advised to store water now, as you will be experiencing water cuts throughout the day.

Water Authority Spokesman Maika Nagalu said due to heavy rain, the purifying of water at the Waila pumping station will take some time and as a result these areas will be receiving intermittent supplies to low pressure.

Nagalu added that those living at the Waila Housing to the Sawani Indian school and some areas along Princess Road will not have supply for a while, as engineers are fixing a burst main pipe which is resulting in the disruptions.

Nagalu is also advising those living in Delainavesi, Lami, Veisari and Togalevu to store whatever water is coming from their taps, as disruptions will be felt throughout today, as one of the pumps at the Savura pumping station broke down this morning.
