The Vunivalu of Serua Ratu Peni Latianara has asked the Great Council of Chiefs review team led by Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo that he will have to consult his people first before they accept the recommendation presented to them today.
As the second day of the Serua Provincial Council started this morning the GCC team presented to the chiefs of Serua the criteria of the new look GCC.
Ratu Latianara spoke on behalf of the province asking the GCC Review team that since he has not been traditionally installed, he is not in a position to make any comments at this stage.

Under the new GCC regulation only the chiefs who have been traditionally installed qualify to be part of the GCC.
The NCBBF team will talk to the Serua Provincial Council this afternoon.
