Mother's day is said to be a historical tradition dating back centuries, and over time people have adapted their own way of appreciating their mothers.
Fijivillage took to the streets today to get people's view on mother's day.
While many gave their mother's a day off today and did all the house chores and took their mother's to lunch, many say everyday should be mother's day. However there are some who are away from their mother's but took time out to remember the sacrifices they have made for us.
