Member of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) Consultation team on the Draft Peoples Charter stressed that a person can never be judged by the colour of their skin but their actions.
While speaking on Good Governance and Electoral reforms last night during consultations on the draft Charter in Nausori, Penelope Moore stressed the need to move away from the race based voting system to ensure that capable people who think of all Fiji citizens are empowered to run the country.
Moore also said that she decided to join the NCBBF to try and make amends for the mistakes made by her Colonial ancestors who brought about the systems which now divide the country.
About 60 people attended the draft Charter consultation last night at the Nausori Parish Hall.
