Pedestrians have been asked to take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety on our roads.
National Road Safety Council Director, Akapusi Tuifagalele said pedestrians need to ensure they cross the roads at the assigned crossings and at traffic lights and not be carefree when walking on the roads.
Tuifagalele said drivers and pedestrians must work together to prevent fatal accidents.
The road death toll stands at 11 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
