With only 13 days to the Pacific Games, the Fiji Pearls will be expecting a tough competition from Cook Islands in the Pacific Games Netball Competition.
Fiji is pooled with Vanuatu and the Cook Islands.
Coach, Kate Carpenter says the Cook Islands team mostly consists of New Zealand based players.
Carpenter says they will deliver their best and play as a team.
The Pearls will leave for PNG on a commercial flight on the 11th of next month.
They will meet Vanuatu in their first pool match on the 13th of and meet Cook Islands on the 15th.
The semi-finals will be held on the 17th while the final will be on the 18th of July.
The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of next month in Papua New Guinea.
