The Fijian Teachers Association maintains that the civil servants' pay cut restoration should be backdated.
General Secretary, Maika Namudu said the interim government should consider the plight of the civil servants as they have not been getting their full pay since March last year.
PSC has indicated that 2% pay restoration will be done in July this year and the remaining 2% will be considered towards the end of the year however this will not be backdated.
