The Solicitor General Christopher Pryde has called on the President of the Fiji Law Society Dorsami Naidu to stop being paranoid and pay what he owes to the Court.

Naidu has been served with court papers demanding payment of court costs in the amount of $12,100 with interest.

Enforcement costs were granted to the State as a result of Naidu's failed application when he was representing Angie Heffernan in her case in 2007 and last year.

Pryde said Naidu cannot be treated differently just because he is the President of the Fiji Law Society.

However, Naidu said he will be taking the matter forward and paying off the costs is not in his mind at the moment.
