The two percent pay restoration for civil servants has come into effect from today.
Public Service Commission chairman Rishi Ram confirmed that, as assured earlier, the pay restoration will be paid out to civil servants this month.
Meanwhile, the dispute filed by the Trade Unions for the civil servants pay to be backdated is still before the Permanent Arbitrator and a decision is yet to be made.
