The Nasinu Town Council has called on the ratepayers to pay off the overdue $8 million in rates if they want better service from the council.
Town clerk, Satish Kumar said many projects are yet to get off the ground due to lack of finance.
Nasinu's population is over 112,000 and many residents have complained of poor services provided by the council.
