Pathologists are now conducting post mortem examinations on the two bodies found yesterday morning in Tacirua 6 miles.
Valelevu Police Station officer-in-charge Superintendent of Police Manoj Singh said they will decide on the next step of investigations after receiving the post mortem reports.
Police said they are treating this as a murder case and it is alleged that after a domestic dispute the husband murdered his wife. He was later found dead.
The couple has a 5 month old baby who is now with her grandmother.
