Motorists continue to be frustrated over the pathetic road conditions in the Suva area as maintenance costs is putting a major strain on their pockets with Christmas just around the corner.
Village News took to the streets of the capital city today to speak to motorists who say that the poor road conditions are not only damaging their vehicles but also posing a major risk to pedestrians with shoppers out in numbers.
Some say damages due to bad road conditions are costing them around $150 to $200 a month.
Suva Lord Mayor Ratu Peni Volavola is currently in a meeting and is expected to comment later today.
