Fiji Football Association Vice-President Rajesh Patel has been appointed as the Chairman of the Internal Audit Committee in the Oceania Football Confederation.

Patel is the first soccer administrator from Fiji to head the committee in the OFC.

He was also appointed in the FIFA Internal Audit Committee last year.

Fiji FA President Doctor Samsud Dean Sahu is expected to comment later on Patel's appointment.
