A Church Pastor and his 22-year-old son of Navua are under police investigation for allegedly manufacturing and selling homebrew.

Navua Police have confirmed they have confiscated more than 50 litres of homebrew and some manufacturing apparatus.

Police were monitoring the 2 after the sudden increase in the number of drunk and disorderly cases in their area.

Upon making some arrests, police managed to establish that homebrew was the major cause of criminal activities and that these 2 were selling it to the members of the public at a much cheaper price.

The homebrew confiscated had been sent to the Koronivia research station for analysis.
