Parts of Suva to be closed temporarily
SCC Chief Executive Officer Ratu Ilitomasi Verenakadavu said the march will be in three phases adding under Zones Three and Four, the route taken will begin from the Marist Primary School at 10.10am on to Suva Street, turning left on Toorak Road, left onto Waimanu Road, then turn right onto Mark Street towards the Suva Bus Stand, Usher Street, Scott Street, turning right on Rodwell Road ending at the flea market.
Verenakadavu said in Zone One and Two, the route taken will begin from the Government Building ground at 10.20, along Victoria Parade towards the Suva Bus Stand, Thompson Street, Scott Street and Rodwell Road ending at the Flea Market.
He adds the main march route will begin from the Flea Market at 11.30am, then through Rodwell Road, Scott Street, Thompson Street, Victoria Parade, New Town Hall Road, Stinson Parade ending at Sukuna Park.
Verenakadavu said any inconvenience caused during this time is regretted.
