The Parramatta Eels has formally opened talks to re‑sign superstar fullback Jarryd Hayne and the timing could not be better for Hayne.
Hayne has indicated he wants to remain with the Eels and requesting a price no doubt around $1 million Australian dollars a season.
Under contract until the end of next year, Hayne will be on the radar of just about every club in the NRL.
Parramatta will try to keep Hayne until the end of either 2017 or 2018.
The Eels will face the Raiders at 10.30pm this Saturday.
