The National Fire Authority (NFA) reiterates its call for parents to supervise their children while they are on holiday.

This comes after another fire in Nabua on Sunday left six people homeless after investigations revealed that the owners' children were playing with matches.

National Fire Authority said the owner and his four children were in the house when the fire started from one of the bedrooms where two children were playing with matches and set the mattress on fire.

NFA Acting Chief Fire Officer Tupou Saumbulinayau has urged parents and guardians to keep an eye on their children and teach them not to play with matches.
