With 15 days to go before the start of a new school year, parents are being urged to make use of back to school bargains.

Consumer Council CEO Premila Kumar said parents should make use of affordable deals adding “locally produced exercise books are cheaper then imported ones”.

Kumar said parents should stick to their shopping lists.

She added with children as well in tow while out shopping, this is a chance to teach them on how to manage money.

School will begin on the 24th of this month.
