With only days before the new school year starts, many parents say they are struggling to fulfill the needs and expectations of their children.

Fijivillage walked the streets of Suva today and saw parents rushing to buy school books, stationary and uniforms for their children.

Most of the parents Fijivillage news spoke to say that the prices of books have increased and some even say that their children will have to begin the new year with old uniforms and books as they cannot afford new ones.
