Some parents are still finding it difficult to send their kids to school especialy those who relied on farming and those who were labourers but are now unemployed following the floods last month.
Sigatoka Andhra Sangam School vice Principle Paulini Turukawa said some of the students started coming to school last week after arrangements were made with the school.
Meanwhile, Ba School for Special Education said they have been assured by Save the Children Fiji that their flood affected students will be assisted if the need arises.
Head Teacher Litia Naliva said they received more than $1000 from Save the Children Fiji through which 14 students were assisted with bus fares and lunch for five weeks.
