For the past two days of Fiji Showcase 2009, families have taken advantage of the entertainment and the great bargains with many grateful for the safe environment.
With the introduction of the TFL Safe Kids Corner, many kids have been seen walking around enjoying the atmosphere with yellow bands around their wrists.
Fijivillage spoke to some parents about the bands and many were grateful saying they were happy knowing their kids were safe.
Organizers Total Event Company introduced the yellow wrist bands as a way to ensure that when parents and children get separated, there is a means of reuniting them immediately.
Meanwhile, Fijivillage also spoke to some children after the Great Gondos Show and many of them were astounded with seeing Roberta lock herself into a small box.
Looking at the local entertainment on offer today, there will be a special package today for church goers as 3 local gospel bands, Eagles Wings, Sekope Raikoro and Ravula Gospel, will perform.
In other entertainment, this hour Showcase mascot Cookie the Clown will have his crazy comedy show, at 12.30pm the Great Gondos where Roberta will squeeze herself into a box and at 1.30pm Canadian James Johnson will have his magical balloon show.
Gates to Fiji Showcase 2009 will remain open till 9 o'clock this evening with tickets being $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for children 3 years and over.
