More than 5,000 students will be sitting for their Fiji Intermediate Exams this morning, and parents have been asked not to put too much pressure on their children to score high marks.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Child Psychiatrist Selina Kuruleca said as adults, we must understand that these children are young and for most this will be their first major external exam.

She adds as children, they do not have a lot of experience to handle difficult situations, and most of them feel let down if they don't meet their parents expectations.
