A secondary school from Nausori, Pandit Shreedhar Maharaj College will enter into the Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Championship as underdogs which kicks-off today.
Team coordinator Praneshwar Ram says they have qualified for the championship after a long time as they were champions in 1988.
He adds it will be a big exposure for the players as they have never participated in a similar tournament before.
The school will face Vivekananda Technical Centre in their first match.
The Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Championship will be played from today till Wednesday at Ratu Cakobau Park and Saraswati grounds in Manoca.
