Wallabies number eight Wycliff Palu has extended his contract with the Waratahs by a year. 

However, Palu has revealed he might head overseas thereafter. 

Waratahs Head Coach, Michael Foley believes Palu will remain an important asset, describing his re-signing as very important for the team.

The Waratahs will take on the Bulls at 9.40pm Friday. Meanwhile, at 7.35pm, the Blues will play the Lions.
