A day left before we celebrate Palm Sunday, Fijivillage news was able to attend a church practice in Tacirua last night.
Palm Sunday is a Christian feast which always falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday.
It celebrates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem in the days before his Passion.
It is also called Passion Sunday or Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion.
At the Raibevu Methodist church, some children who will be taking part tomorrow were asked what Palm Sunday meant to them.
Meanwhile these children will take up the role of church ministers when they stand behind the pulpit and lead the congregation tomorrow.
In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshipers.
