Ireland have been knocked out of the ICC Cricket World Cup by Pakistan, who now qualify for the quarter‑finals with a seven‑wicket win.
Ireland had started batting and set 237 while Pakistan pulled through to finish with a 241- 3.
The Irish now finish fifth in Pool B.
Meanwhile, the ICC Cricket World Cup quarterfinals will start this Wednesday with Sri Lanka taking on South Africa at 3.30pm, Bangladesh will meet India on Thursday at 3.30pm, Australia will clash with Pakistan at 3pm Friday while New Zealand will face the West Indies on Saturday at 1pm.
