Police are currently trying to locate Benjamin Padarath who is alleged to have fled from the CWM hospital today.
Director Traffic Ramend confirmed to LegendFM news that Padarath who was admitted at the hospital is now where to be seen and will be questioned regarding the accident at Victoria Parade yesterday.
Meanwhile, The Land Transport Authority has today confirmed that Benjamin Padarath was disqualified from driving for the next 3 years starting from August last year and was not supposed to drive until 2009.
Padarath received injuries when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving, went into the opposite lane and collided with an on-coming van. The passengers in the van escaped injuries.
Padarath who was earlier convicted to three years imprisonment after being found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving was released on a Compulsory Supervision Order earlier this year.
