The chairman of Tourism Fiji said the global recession phenomenon is taking its toll impacting the country's foreign reserves.
However, Patrick Wong said Tourism Fiji is taking challenges by seizing the opportunities with its great value package deals to attract more tourists in the country.
Wong said that airlines have also been affected due to the global recession and steps should be taken to curb the problems.
