The Pacific Youth Festival is a chance for the public to be able to see how our future and youths are connected.
Pacific Youth Festival Organizing Committee member and Fiji Arts Council's Letila Mitchel said the Council has been tasked with the opening ceremony celebrations and will be using it to educate the public.
Mitchel said over 1000 youths will be used in the opening which is expected to be a huge success.
A total of over 600 youths from Marshall Islands, Nauru, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Tonga, Vanuatu, Cook Islands, American and Western Samoa, Wallis and Futuna along with two delegations from French Polynesia are expected into the country this week.
