The IRB Pacific Rugby Cup match scheduled for next Friday 7pm at the National Sports Stadium has been shifted to Lautoka because of the Coca Cola Light Games.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics secretary, Vuli Waqa said because of the tight schedule on the opening day, they won't be able to complete the races by 7pm and it might finish around 8pm with the finals in the Blue Ribbon event.

Waqa said some delays are expected as always on the opening day because of the formal programmes.

Meanwhile Pacific Games 5,000 metres gold medalist, Akesa Drotini could be given the honours to light the cauldron at next week's Coca Cola Light Games.

The form 3 student of Adi Cakobau School was one of the stars during the 2007 Pacific Games in Samoa, when she ran barefoot to win the gold medal by beating some of top athletes from other countries.

Waqa said they have been in touch with other top sports personalities to light the cauldron.

The Coca Cola Light Games will be held next Friday and Saturday at the National Sports Stadium.
