The Pacific Rugby Limited Chairman Keni Dakuidreketi is hoping that the players announced to play for the Pacific Islanders will get their release from their overseas based clubs.

The 28 member squad that was announced earlier this month by former coach Ilivasi Tabua has all overseas based players from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

It is believed that when the Pacific Islanders will tour Europe in November, most of the players will still be tied up with their club commitments.

But according to Dakuidreketi at this stage the same squad remains and he will work with his other officials in securing the players club releases.
