The Pacific Islanders have announced a brand new sponsor for the upcoming Test matches against England, France and Italy next month.

Sports Hydrant will take up naming rights with the combined side to be called The Sports Hydrant Pacific Islanders.

Chairman of the Tour Committee Bob Tuckey said the Sports Hydrant is a new concept in sports communication and they represent a new, innovative and hugely exciting concept.

He said they already have great synergy with the Pacific Islanders brand.

Meanwhile, Sports Hydrant spokesman Andy Turnbull said the signing of the Sports Hydrant Pacific Islanders sponsorship represents the first official activity of their company and something of which they are extremely proud.

He said Sports Hydrant will be launching its new platform worldwide in the very near future.

The Pacific Islanders are made up of players from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
