In efforts to attract more New Zealand visitors to our shores, the area from Suva to Pacific Harbour has been rebranded as the Pacific Coast Region of Viti Levu and boasts to be the Adventure capital of Fiji.

To help with the promotion, a group of Travel agents were brought in to participate in the "Thrill Me" program to sample several of the regions soft adventure activities.

This included tree top zip lining with ZipFiji, white water rafting with Rivers Fiji, a visit to Lalati resort on Beqa while cultural activities included a visit to the Arts Village in Deuba.

Tourism Fiji Regional Director New Zealand Sala Toganivalu said the focus of the program was specifically set on alerting the participants to the huge array of travel product now available on the Pacific Coast.

She said the group also had an opportunity to see firsthand the Pacific coasts potential to the Kiwi romantic travel and family markets.
