Keeping in line with what's affecting us today, those attending the Pacific Youth Festival will be getting first hand education on the Pandemic H1N1.
National Advisor for Non communicable Diseases Committee Dr Isimeli Tukana said this will be an excellent opportunity to promote healthy living to youths from all around the region.
The Festival starts this Saturday with various health workshops held during the weeklong Festival.
Organizers have planned panel discussions through the whole week focusing on 5 main topics such as Pacific Identity, the Environment, Skills for Life, Healthy Living and Good Governance.
A total of over 600 youths from Marshall Islands, Nauru, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Tonga, Vanuatu, Cook Islands, American and Western Samoa, Wallis and Futuna along with two delegations from French Polynesia are expected into the country for the Festival.
