The government has asked the organizers of the Pacific Youth Festival to remove some of the youth speakers from their list as they always speak against the government.
Permanent Secretary for Information Lt Colonel Neumi Leweni said this is necessary to ensure that the Public Emergency Regulation is not breached.
However, Lt Colonel Leweni confirmed that the speeches of the people who will speak at the festival, will not be vetted by the government.
