As thousands of people in Nasau, Nadi, and other nearby areas continue to face water disruptions from last week Thursday, the Public Works Department said it is unaware of any such problem.
Divisional Water Engineer Western Samuela Tubui when contacted stated that he does not know of any water disruptions in these areas as he has not received any complaints.
Tubui also refused to make further comments saying he only came to know about the problem through our news broadcast.
However, resident of Nasau, Nadi, Dilesh Chand said students have been the most affected.
He added they have not been distributed water by the PWD and also have not received any word as to when water will be restored.
Meanwhile, close to 4000 people in Nabekavu, Labasa, are also facing water disruptions from last week as the bore hole that supplies water to them suffered damages by heavy rain.
