Residents along Ratu Mara and along Brown Street and nearby areas can expect water disruptions as the Public Works Department engineers will be fixing the leakages around the Rewa Street area from this evening.
According to Water Supply spokesperson Maika Nagalu, residents are advised to store water now as works will start at 10 tonight.
Meanwhile, hundreds of residents in Nadi are without water supply from yesterday morning.
A major mechanical breakdown at Black Rock reservoir in Nadi has resulted in the disruption.
Areas affected include Namaka, Martintar and nearby areas.
Public Utilities spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said engineers have detected the problem and work is expected to complete by this afternoon.
She added water supply will be fully restored by tomorrow as water trucks are carting water in affected areas.
