The Public Works Department has confirmed that there will be a planned water shutdown in parts of Lami later this afternoon to allow repair works on a pump at the Waimanu pumping station which had broken down.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Samuela Tubui said residents of Lami, Delainavesi and Veisari will be affected as they have been advised to collect enough water.
Tubui confirms water trucks will be carting water in affected areas.
