The Bus Operators Association said one of the requirements of the LTA act is that all PSV drivers must have their medical examination done before their license is renewed.
Association President, Pyara Singh's comments came after the Land Transport Authority Chief Executive Officer, Etuate Koroi made the call that Bus operators need to seriously look into checking the medical status of its drivers.
Singh adds that the PSV drivers must go through a defensive course before renewing their license.
