The Public Service Commission has confirmed that it will not enforce the retirement age policy at 55 years at this stage for non members of the FPSA and the FTA.
However, PSC Chairman Dr. Mohammad Yunus said they are to seek advice from the State lawyers on the matter.
The PSC is also anticipating a ruling in their favor.
The Court stay order on the implementation of the retirement age at 55 years applies for members of the FPSA and the FTA but does not include the disciplined forces.
