The Public Service Commission is hoping to bring down operational costs by centralizing the operations of various ministries.
Chairman Josefa Serulagilagi said at the moment they are focusing on Suva and Lautoka, especially since one ministry would usually have various other branches spread out around their main head office.
Serulagilagi said an example would be the Education Ministry.
He added with this exercise, they are looking at reducing operational costs by 10%.
